India is facing  numerous issue right now. The border tension and standoff against Chinese forces , an economy which is in a typical recession and we have the second most active cases in the world. Currently there is 10.4 million cases from which 9.8million people have recovered and 150k people have lost their life(January 5 2021). Even though in January 2021 the daily cases have slow down but we know that covid is still poses a great threat and it's still very fatal. And version 2.0 has just discovered in United kingdom

Since this pandemic is the biggest crisis since our independence,we must stop this as soon as it is possible. Fortunately two vaccines has been approved in india .

VACCINED APPROVED TILL NOW

First is the covishield it is developed by  Oxford-astrazeneca in collaboration and it will be produced by the serum institute of India which is the largest the manufacturer of the vaccines in the world

Second is indigenously developed vaccine covaxin which is developed by Bharat biotech and icmr . It will be manufacturered by Bharat biotech.

VACCINATION PROGRAM IN INDIA

India has the population of 1.38 billion people which is second in the world due to this it is very hard to distribute the vaccine to whole population within a small span of time.

India has started a dry run in some states like Assam, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat and Punjab. Dry run means the mechanism how the Vaccine will be distributed to whole population of India. 

The big question arises when will the whole population will be vaccinated and the expected date is of early 2022. India aims to vaccinate 300 million people by July 2021.

The first people who will get vaccinated will be health workers, police and other staffs. After it the old population will be vaccinated.

The vaccination is volunteer in nature this mean that getting vaccinatied is the choice of people.

INDIA ROLE IN GLOBAL LEVEL 

India is the largest manufacturer of the vaccines in the world. This means many developed developing and undeveloped countries will look towards India for thier vaccination program . So this will be a huge opportunity for India to look at.

 And at last many more vaccine like Sputnik 5 of Russia. Pfizer of USA and Germany . Moderna of USA will be used in India , manufacturered by India and will be distributed by india to the world.
