Myanmar military coup

On November 2020 Ann san sui kyi was selected as the  state counsellor of Myanmar for the second time. But the military of Myanmar has declared the election as a fraud one and they have removed the Democratically elected government.
On February 1 2021 the military chief  of Myanmar Min Aung hlaing  declared himself as the acting head of the state for one year until the new leader is elected. Military claim that the elections were fraud  but many world organizations claim the elections were fair. Most of the people believe that the military have done so to bring back the military dictatorship in Myanmar.

POLITICAL HISTORY OF MYANMAR
On 4th January 1948 Myanmar gain independence from Britain and became an independent republic under the conditions of Burma independence act of 1947.

On 2nd March 1962 first time in the history of Myanmar the military has taken over the government and since then the government was in a direct influence of military. There were many protest against the military dictatorship in Myanmar but they were supressed brutally.
In 1988 the protests against the military started to rise . This protest was one of the main reason for the return of elections and democracy in 2011.

The results of the election of 2011 came in the favour of military backed party because the other parties have not contested in the elections. In 2016 Suu kyi was elected as the head of Myanmar. When she won the election again in 2020 the elections were framed as a fraud election by the military.
After the power was transferred to military the elected leaders were detained in jails.

WORLD REACTION ON MILITARY TAKEOVER
Many European countries have shown their full support to the detained leader sui kyi and criticised the steps taken by the military. Britain have claimed it as an undemocratic act and asked the military to withdraw from the power. Australian government have also shown a similar reaction.
The initial Chinese reaction was neutral but in United Nations Russia and China had used their veto power in favour of military of Myanmar.USA has imposed more sanctions on Myanmar. The country is facing a lot of economic problems. The sanctions of USA will make it worse.
India have reacted in a neutral manner because Myanmar is an Neighbor to India and we don't know how Myanmar will be ruled in the future so it is not good for India to speak against military or the detained leaders.

CURRENT SCENARIO
There are many ongoing protest in Myanmar against the military coup. There are violence and riot in all over the country. So it is very difficult to predict a outcome in future.
