North East India' which comprise a population of 45.4 million and a land area 2.62lakh km² is often called as the neglected or ignored part of india

NORTH EAST India is connected with mainland India by 'Siliguri corridor' which have a width of only 22 kilometers . Therefore it is also one of the most sensitive area of India. It also lacks infrastructure due to bad conditions of road and also suffer in supply of logistics and support. This part of India is not only underdeveloped but also faces a serious issue of racism and discrimination. They face this discrimination due to their looks and appearances which hampers the connectivity of people to people.
Since the population of North East states are very low so that the politicians never focus on the development of the area. As the major share of their vote comes from the mainland India. This also helped in igniting the separatist groups in region who demands there separate nation.
North East faces serious issue of underdevelopment, discrimination and separatist groups. But one of the major issue is illegal immigrants from Bangladesh. We all know that India is facing a serious problem of overpopulation and letting immigrants live in India is not a good option. India shares it's largest border of 4096 km with Bangladesh and 1879 kilometers is alone shared by north east states. Since fencing every corner of border is not possible. The Bangladeshi finds the ways to enter India illegally. They easily make the fake documents and causes problem for locals to get a employment.

Arunachal Pradesh is the largest state of North East. It is often claimed by Chinese leader as a integral part of china making it as one of the most disputed area of the world.
Due to many internal and external reason north east India is one of the most unstable and  underdeveloped part of india.
