Two Front War Against India

China and Pakistan are some of the most hostile nation against India. India have fought numerous war against these two nations but our nation have never fought these two nations together at the same time . So let's know why our military wanted to be prepared for an two front war.

INDIA PAKISTAN KASHMIR CONFLICT

India and Pakistan has a hostile relationship since their independence and both nations have fought four war against each other in 1948 1965 1971 and 1999 over the disputed territory of Jammu and Kashmir. Small border skirmishes and standoff is something ordinary for both nations . Pakistan is also often accused of sponsoring terrorists against India.

BORDER DISPUTE AND SKIRMISHES IN LADAKH(2020)

In May 2020 when the border road organization (BRO) was constructing road near the line of actual control then Chinese forces have objected the construction of the road near the galwan valley and since then the border standoff between both the nation has started. On 15 June 2020 a clash between the soldiers causes a casuality of 20 soldiers on Indian side and 43 soldiers on Chinese side.

FRIENDSHIP OF PAKISTAN AND CHINA

In the recent past we have seen a good relations among both nations which is a cause of concern for India. Pakistan and china had signed the deal of CPEC( CHINA PAKISTAN ECONOMIC CORRIDOR) which is one of the part of one belt one road initiative of china. Therefore Pakistan has a greater role to play in Chinese expansion policies. 

In the previous wars china has always backed Pakistan and in 1962 with war with china, pakistan has framed India as an aggressor. They have signed a treaty of friendship. 73 percent of total arms import of pakistan comes from china. China had also supported the nuclear program of Pakistan in the past.

Therefore two front war against these nations is a real issue for India. 

IS INDIA READY FOR TWO FRONT WAR.

Yes India is ready for the two front war as the whole armed forces of pakistan is not a match for the Indian armed forces. Indian armed forces are way superior in quantity as well as in quality.

If we talk about china our land forces are not much lagging behind that of china but the airforce and Navy of china is way bigger than that of India. But the majority of assets of Chinese airforce and Navy is deployed in their eastern side because of the tensions in South China Sea and tension with Taiwan. They too have tension with South Korea and Japan. Countries in South China Sea , Taiwan and Japan is backed with the support of USA the strongest country in the world. So china can't even deploy the 25 percent of their assets in Indian border
